it's been almost a year now.
marks another year.

but it never felt like a year.
during the first half, time went by so quick.
it was fun-filled, 'action'-packed.
and so i thought i was being in the right place.
maybe not so the right time.. (i would have gotten the shot to travel to italy if i were here a lil earlier. but then again that is a thought i never linger on)
and i still think i am being in the right place.
i have to keep an optimistic mind, remember.
just that i need to place new perspectives ahead for now, for days to come.
because at times, i think i have lost track.
i think i have lost the cause of me loitering around.
which seems to be still coming back to the same spot at the end of the day.
as this is how i during the second half.

actions have to be backed up with serious considerations.
and this is so not who i am.
or at least not who i was.
and so adds the unwanted mixed feelings and thoughts in me.

i so want to see a change.
i am desperate.
in many things.
and so i look out in other places,
of which i could have a control on.
and these are predictable. no challenge.
which eventually would not satisfy.

sometimes i wonder.
maybe sticking around and let time takes its course is what i should learn.
and try to get a hang on.
but not to the point of being too cosy.

when a girl is not perfect in all aspects, or to be more precise, achieves satisfactory results in most aspects, if not all; she makes sure that she at least does superbly excellent in one, at least one.

so here i am.

i dare to say, i am always an achiever in what i do. my studies, and then leading to my job now - my profesion.

i am always proud of myself, being able to stand out among my friends and acquaintances when it comes to what i do. and i know my limits as i do not see myself competing with the whole world, that would be just too out of reach, too tiring the process.

and i am not afraid to say it loud, this is part of myself gaining self esteem, which is essential in continuing to be good in it.

and i must also confess.

when i start to realise that i have not done well in other aspects of my life, i make sure that i do even better with what i do best at the moment.

and this, has never come on stronger than before. never.

i have always lived the life i want to be, and see it to be. ahh.. the cant-be-bothered attitude towards life, and everything in life.

guess that has come to an end.

and you have no idea.

on how much pressure i have created for myself just for that.

making sure that i actually do even better. not that i dont before this, but from then onwards, i have to 'realise' that i am doing it.

i have to feel it.

and its sad, to say.

and by feeling it, i guess its the compliments, the rewards (given to myself by myself, and also from my employers). which translated into the ability to spend, to splurge, to boast, to feel superior.

and i am fully aware that this is not a good practice as well. it is not a good thing to continue being in such circumstances.

but i cannot help it.

and there is this in me, trying to rationalise it both ways.

which means there are two mes in me.

and when things dont go smooth or as anticipated in the thing i do best - my job, it becomes even more frustrating. it leads to anger, and exhaustion, way faster than it already is.

oh gawd.

and no. i do have a life. i pretty damn make sure i do have one.

i lied.
i lied texting saying i am to attend to 'some' stuff, thus excused myself, skipping the weekly guitar session.
truth is, i would really want to have the evening by myself.
a quiet, chilly evening.
i did nothing. precisely something i needed these days.
i slept in. waking up to a knock asking to join in dinner, which i did not.
i read. a few lines. somehow i couldn't bear the idea of reading in my own room. it's a lil too quiet i think. and usually, in such condition i tend to think while reading. which is not good, because it's tiring and disturbing at times. that is why i enjoy reading everywhere else but here, i need some sort of distraction in the background, be it the noise coming from the bus engines, or the screeching sounds from the lack-of-maintenance-trains. music in my pc just doesn't do the job. they are too organized i suppose.. lol.
and so i end up switching between freecell and lines in my book.
which didn't make the whole situation any better, because i cannot concerntrate on what's the book trying to say. and i felt like i am reading the book for the sake of finishing it, and the thought of having about 20 unread books kept popping in my head. i dislike that.
i love having to spend time by myself. the me time i call it. but more often than not, while doing shopping or sitting in the cinema, i think a lot at the same time too. of things in life, of life itself.
which, seriously is exhausting!
gosh. there are not much of moments when i can just seriously do nothing.

and so, today has actually been rather enjoyable.

i love being surrounded with choices!
for instance, if the tee i like came with an array of rainbow colours, i would smile instantly, tho wouldn't wear all of them, i like seeing them arranged nicely side by side~

so, when i came to this marche @ the curve.. instantly fell in love with the place!
everything comes with a few choices, and they are nicely put side by side, like the desserts~

oops. blur picture. but clear enough to see those yum-yummy sweet stuff~~

and the rest resembles a marketplace actually.
here comes the fruit stall.

and also the fresh vegie~ dont they just look lovely~

and so.. i ended up with these for my dinner that day..
a bowl of wild mushroom for starter, a rather normal fresh salad with smoked salmon slices to fill and ended with a slice of apple crumble which was the best of all.

and friends ended up with a glass of fresh watermelon, and this lamb stew with mashed potats at the side. looks not bad laa but i am not into huge chunks of meat these days, dont mind finishing the potats tho.. =P

not a particularly yummy experience, dont mind going back for a dessert or two tho.. hah.

前一阵子都在做病猫。学会了不用去看医生，跑了去pharmacy带回来了可爱颜色不可爱形状size的药丸。喉咙痛啦，痰超多啦，变声了啦这个啦那个啦。。

不过我可不是赖的。。变声了竟然还跑去半夜学人家唱张韶涵的呐喊还有FIR的飞行部落。之后再来王菲的不留还有王力宏的星座！哈哈哈。真痛快，还嫌有点不够吼呢 XD

然后病猫整早晨5点才回到家，竟然还可以兴致一起收拾房间两小时，天亮了才倒下去睡。。更惊人的是。。11点又起身了！！啊哈哈哈

很可怜的猫咪。。
我怀疑它就是那天被我们目睹一个无良司机撞到的猫咪。
因为它的一只脚已经是残废了的。
然后它很怕人，一看到有人想接近它就马上一拐一拐地跑掉。我们看到都心疼，不想它多移动所以不靠近它了。我也是静静地在它旁边呆了好久好久，它才让我拍了几张照片。
我其实不敢碰它，因为看到它的耳朵部分好像染了病菌。耳朵和眼睛部分变得好干，脆脆的，感觉上一碰了就会碎掉。看到真的很心疼，就现在写着这篇再次看回照片都觉得痛!
同事陪我到楼下的兽医，把照片给医生看了一看，兽医决定上来看看它心想抱下去医。可是猫咪好像提早知道还是它听得懂我和同事在它面前的对话？！兽医上来时已经不见可怜猫咪的踪影。。傻猫！

the spot i face most in my room.. besides the ceiling right on top of my bed.. cds.. all below the pc.. and damn i miss the trips to spore!! bcos that's where i get my cds!! and some of the mags too at the side, and my journals..

and next to my monitor and speaker is actually the cylinder container of lindt dark choco my boss got for me.. =P there are still 3 inside.. which i doubt i will actually touch it anymore.. hah

this is perhaps the 'pink-est' area in my room! having pink doggie and a pink mashimaro, with a few pink book covers up there.. but it happens to be my fav spot in the room too~ XD

from left to right.. 1st compartment houses more of my id and archi mags.. same goes to the 2nd.. 3rd has a roll of yellow butter paper and 3 books and on top of this 3 compartments are actually stuff that are gathering dust.. like empty nice bottles, the biggest bulb i took bck fr phentian.. and little cutie stuff collected over the years.. hah! oh ya.. and empty frames too. i must say.. i am not a sentimental person.. thus not having the habit to display photos around.. @_@

and the bookshelf that is placed vertically houses all the books i have just recently started to buy from kino and 2nd hand bookshops. most of them are light reading materials tho.. gonna start reading psychology soon.. with my 25% and 15% discount vouchers from kino~

magazines~ 3 X 2 rows (yes.. there are more behind of what you can see in this pic!) a few books in the middle.. and they are all design related.. hehe. i just dumped 2 rows few days ago..

and the door next to it would be my wardrobe~ heehee

and then next to my wardrobe door is my very-proud-but-not-very-clean grooming mirror and desk. the mirror is so huge and nice.. that most of my friends who have been to my room would go strangle me seeing it so under-used XD

and i have just gotten all these stuff on the desk organized! the christmas tree conveniently becomes my earring tree~ haha. and more earrings in the pill boxes i just gotten a couple of days ago, and the rest of the bracelets and pendants all went into the toolbox and the red covered spaghetti container =P purple plastic lunchbox contains all the bottles of stuff i apply to my ownself (face laa.. hands laa.. eyes laa.. this laa.. that laa.. 做女人真的很茶煲！！）

and of course last but not least, 2 containers of scrunchies~~ tho they dont come into use for the moment.. hehe. as of yesterday, i am having a cutely short hairstyle =P

there's actually very little walking space left in my tiny room, i can still lie in front of my pc tho, which is what i am doing right now. and i just love being surrouded by all the stuff i have so crazeely bought over these 2years~~

of course, when there is a smart pair of white sneakers, i needed new socks too. the blue one in front is from nike, the rest from soxworld (my fav place to get socks. block colored socks~)

the two things that are not on sale. two different style hats. one in smart grey the other in kinda sweet light brown with brown linings. and yes, they are not cheap!

small accessories here and there. a proper silver necklace finally, from perlini's. a pair from my newly fav store - axxezz @ klcc. and 'so happen' to find discounts in the island shop, half priced necklace, earrings and bracelet.

and last but not least, food for the thought. tho not really, but light reading instead. the new book by candace bunshell and also my monthly fix - d+a design mag. the other book is a gift for a dearie friend. both books with 30% discount from kino.

and yes. i am aware of my compulsive disorder. especially when i see discounts. and me love having being spoilt with choices. i feel the need to spend, and i feel the need to own.

work! busy busy as usual. but i am learning not to do overtime unnecessarily. hehe. it actually becomes of a habit rather than a need. not flying anymore meanwhile (which i kinda miss already.. =P) means no more cheap lindt choco XD

new clothes.. new wardrobe slowly and subtly. there is pair of black jeans i have been keeping in the wardrobe for almost half a year, maybe it's time to get it altered (it's about 2inches too long at the bottom!) and start wearing it~

books.. and lotsa new books. enough to do til the next kino sales or book fair. light reading only tho.. before i dip myself into the deeper ocean =P

guitar lessons~ i must say i do feel like i am in an express class. it's only my third lesson and i have already learnt quite a number of stuff! haha. not that i mind, i juz need to spend even longer on practices. and more painful fingers that's all.. hah but thinking that in no time i will be able to play songs on my own is definitely a good motivator!

been watching alot of movies too~ i kept a promise of my own that is to not miss the regular a movie a week norm =P so unless it's a movie i dont intend to watch, else you could be seeing me rating it on facebook as soon as it's been released here in kl XD

and of course comes the food~ actually.. i havent been trying new eating places leh! ggrrr..

now left one thing tho.. i havent been updating my music enough! need to do some cd shopping real soon. haha.

i stopped believing in the reviews of various local food bloggers since..

since i found most of their posts if not all on jap food speak only how good they are (when they are not in my opinion)..
hah.
so as i said before, i shall just give all the jap restaurants in this city a try..
and shall patronize those that are seriously good (and convenient sad to say..)
or if they are really good, i will make it a point to go for it from time to time.. =P

just when you saw high recommendations on the internet, the real stuff turned out to be even more disappointing at this rakuzen @ chulan sq.
i decided to go for their sunday lunch ala carte buffet, together with my sis n bro-in-law.
reservations had to be made. and someone even called a day before to confirm.

no pictures of the interior.. cos they suck. not zen, nor jap style, a lil so called contemp and with lotsa what i called rojak style actually.. hah. (and you definitely dont need to pay a designer to get rojak style outcome!)

12.10pm we reached. (luckily the parking fee is not expensive.. if not someone would have screamed for having to drive all the way from balakong and went thru traffic jam while on the way back)

the menu doesnt look that inviting at all (reminds me of the kiku zakura @ times sq's plastic menu board.. and then i was hoping the food here would at least be good to compensate, like how kiku zakura's zaru soba did!)

and since it's ala-carte style. i decided to just order everything that i have in mind (in head actually) one shot. but even before being able to do so.. we had to stretch our necks, and screaming in our heads before we managed to stop one of the few waiters around..
sigh.. if you do already know your sunday buffet lunch is such a hot item.. would you actually run your place with such short manpower?

or better still.. go hokano @ uptown!

so.. aspirations for the year 2009.
(and it's not too early already. since this list is going to take a while to finish. =P)

and i welcome all suggestions and feedbacks on this issue.
anything at all.

01. to try out a new japanese restaurant once a month.
(reason behind. it's reachable by having only one once a month, because i can still afford it and i would still be visiting those i tried and love so i cant try so many new ones every month! XD)

02. to try out something new each month.
(and with this, i need a new list of options. and i need suggestions from you people! for instance pain ball, luna bar, roller coaster in genting highlands, etc. )

03. start buying and reading psychology books
(i have been saying i want to.. but i never started. i should. because it's interesting.)

04. pouring out for gadgets year.
(less clothing items, and focus on all elec gadgets that will bring longer period of satisfaction and contentment. and with this there is another list to go XD)

05. learn a new sports, a new language properly.
(go to classes. squash and french tentatively =P)

06. more rajin in treating my face better.
(more regular toner and moisturiser, regular facial and masks.. bla bla bla..)

07. vacation overseas.
(because i want to start making this happen. and will start with somewhere not too far away.. melbourne! then to vietnam, phillipines and uk? XD)

08. moving out.
(maybe not next year. but definitely in the planning, maybe start collecting smaller items and when i move i will need a bigger transportation to help me move out my stuff! =P reason not being next year is to wait for my younger bro to finally grad and get a proper job so that we move out tog!)

what am i supposed to do.. this place looks so dead! it's darn demotivating you know..

reasons for not going there..
just the name itself is something wrong (dont ask me how i got in there in the 1st place! >.<), and then you get so-called jap restaurant with no basic jap dishes! (like chawanmushi.. swt!) reason because even though chawanmushi is a very simple dish, it takes expertise to make it good! it can either tastes like plastic.. or they melt the moment it reaches your tongue~ yum yummy~ go go for the chawanmushi in kampachi~~ and the other being they have really lousy interior, and also a promotion which shouldnt even be there in the 1st place! (this, i'll explain to you in detail in a jap food post to come =P) and so.. the jap food crave continues. new places try-out from time to time. and meanwhile, i am trying hard to be a regular of kampachi's =P and still trying to persuade myself to go back to sushi zanmai again and pay for my own food this time =P maybe i should try the new branch in one utama.. hmm.. anyone with me? XD

cant even remember any other places after trying out the branch in pavilion kl.
for cheaper selection, i particularly like ume tei in amcorp. it's run by a jap guy and when he's in kitchen, that would be your day.
i had the nicest zaru soba in inakatei, leisure mall cheras
and oh. and i love sushi zanmai in gardens, midvalley too. 2nd on my list after kampachi~~
zipangu would be good, if you like fusion jap. for me it's ok because i am a fan of trad jap.
so many jap restaurants out there, so little to be worth going back!]

and you'd find ppl there rating sushi king 3rd best on their list.. >.< lol.

AND YES. I OUGHT TO TRY OUT EVERY SINGLE JAP RESTAURANT AT EVERY CORNER OF KL~~

a day and a night alone in dubai

well.. this time it's in another serviced apt, called the harbour, situated right at the marina bay (nearer to the hotel site, but a lot further away from everything else! >.<) still a cosy one, but of course the style approach not to be compared to the place. greeted not only by warm welcome greetings, but also cookies and a bottle of juice~ and cold towel = = (was hesitating for a moment to ask for a warm one.. but wat the heck..)

let's see the not-so-contemporary rooms~
the pillows in the place are much better actually =P but i'm fine with these as well.. (what more can i ask seeing the king size bed)
the 2nd room, with 2 single beds, in rather weird colour scheme.. lol. but this room has definitely the best views outside (once all the construction all around are done of course)

and here comes the living..
and some nice toiletries provided in my bath (it's l'occitane!).. i'm so glad i'm not a collector of such stuff =P
and thanks to the ramadhan month, pretty much more than half of the eateries in town are closed during the day, resulted in me settling my meal in the hotel cafe.

and since when hotel food is ever nice? and they're so darn costly all the time.

and don't you find it abit silly to have found more than half of the business are closed for the month, given the fact that pretty much the entire city of dubai is run by foreigners?! (emiratees only fill 10% of the population!)
beef and mushroom quiche with salad bathed in olive oil at the side. i didnt even finish half of the beef chunks (way overcooked and too salty)

enough of the interior views.. below are views taken from the rooms inside the apt.
it's not bad a place actually.. say maybe about 3yrs later? hah.

the marina bay, just across the road in front of apt. the serviced apt i am in, is actually one of the few hotels operating in this neighbourhood at the moment (only a handful.. the rest are still construction sites as seen!)

but given time, this place definitely looks not bad huh. well, i would come again if i'm actually loaded, during early of the year maybe.. and then i would go on sailing in one of those boats.. XD
(and gosh i actually saw one fella kayaking right there, passing the construction sites! = =)

i need adult lecture / teaching.
one adult whom i respect and does not argue to, and does not nag preferably (and that is so not my mum or dad!)

first, there is this i-have-been-flying-so-darn-frequent-that-my-boss-is-asking-me-to-get-a-cc case. i know i know, i could always suggest for the company to prepare one for me rather than myself having one. but the other thought of having one of my own for emergency cases sound rational too.. but.. is it time? and boss on the other hand is kind enough to help me with a company reference letter? and oh my gosh.. i seriously have not a clue on how this cc actually works! and just in case if you still do not know (how could there be one who does not.. =P) cc stands for credit card. hmm..

second, there is this insurance thing my bro-in-law casually mentioned about, due to the fact that i am always flying around. things could happen? touch wood. but then again, he has a point. but i already have a 5k annual medical insurance for now, would that be enough? is there something else i am missing? personal travel insurance? or whatever heck it may be. i need a clue! no.. i need an answer! and how does the medical insurance work anyway.. gosh, maybe i should ask my boss to explain this.

third, finally in a calmly mood (at least i know for very sure this is not a decision made in anger/frustration/rush/whatever it is) i have decided it's prolly time to move out.. once and for all! well.. it's thought i have given into for quite some time, it is something that i would like to experience in life, another phase i call it. well.. for some reason, i feel like telling my parents, if there is ever a slight possibility that i still wanna move back after moving out, i would like their blessing in that in future. but somehow i do not think they are that open-minded and modern.. so, i think i can bear with the idea of having my very own lounge and bedroom and everything for the rest of my life (or at least until i get married and move into somewhere new with my other half). it's a long story to be shared, but in short, the idea of experiencing something new in life just thrills me (not to forget the idea of having everything designed and decided by my very self). i am totally aware of most of the down side consequences, which i will take it as part of learning and growing process. and this means.. i really have to stop spending like how i still am now and save up more to quicken this process. i am looking at prolly mid or end of next year, but.. i seriously dont know where to start! besides saving up more money for deposits and furniture and maintenance..

and last but not least.. gosh.. i am so excited now while waiting for my bosses to come back and hand me the confirmation letter. would my increment be as promised, or maybe more? i can't help it that i am greedy, because there are just way too many things i would love to own, bought using my very own hard-earned money. and then there is also the savings part. i am beginning to think, how should i save up my money? it cannot possibly be in my savings account, because it's accessible from atm machine that it could be gone in no time. then here comes the fixed deposit? which generates so damn little interest, and that i need quite a huge sum of money to start off.. and then what else? i seriously have not a clue.. some bond thingi maybe? i don't know.. can someone light the way please..

so.. yes. all the adult stuff i needed advice and help are money related.
i am financially independent, but not entirely (you can tell from my crap up there).

and time for some naggy ramblings..
i mean oh my god! who in the earth would compare the amount of money your children give you as an appreciation token with others' kids? well.. utmost sadly my parents do.
not only they compare, they make it clear and obvious to their children - me!
they ask for money, and they complained not given enough, and starts annoying you by saying how much someone's daughter gave despite having a lower pay than yourself.
i mean oh my god! for comparison sake, my friend still gets money from her parents! and the other one doesn't bother to give whatsoever token to their old folks after working for so many years, who still stays with them, like me.
i think this is also part of the reason (major part) that caused me to thinking of moving out.
you'd have thought staying with parents would save more money..
nah ahh.. definitely bullshit.
you'd think 10percent of your paycheck as a contribution to the household is kind..
you'd have never thought they'd still ask for more after a 28% fork out! sometimes more!!

it's been long since i last wrote about a movie here.
don'd intend to start again, but there is a movie i watched over the weekend, which i would say i enjoyed it - an intense, and well put movie.
i have always been a sucker for movies that talk a lot, and it fascinates me when they make movies based on true stories, history of great people and incidents.
not that i watch this genre of films all the time, because i somehow can't stand watching them alone (that explains all the dvds nicely kept untouched in my drawer).
well.. go watch THE GREAT DEBATERS.

and denzel washington is good in this movie.

on the other hand, i am totally addicted to the TOKYO CAFE - STYLISH, COZY & BREEZY music album. it's been looping over and over in the discman (yeaps, my mp3 player has been gone for long, and i am only eyeing on a 32gb ipod touch. til then, i'm absolutely fine with this discman that doesn't really belong to me =P)

and that i had a simply wonderful weekend.
phone is off for good. finished a couple of movies, finished my book.. half way through brothers and sisters season 2 and pigged out totally in sis' place.
it definitely felt good. it makes me ever more determined in my goal - one that i would like to achieve by mid next year.

more good weekends to come, i'm pretty sure of it.
i'm happy for myself, because i haven't been so positive and optimistic for a really long time.

yeap. one of its kind all-green-no-meat dish. theres dairy though.. the blue cheese rite on top = =
and there're actually some red in it, hidden among the green
nice color combi.. not quite sure a nice taste though.. =P
and as said before.. there're veges i couldnt name after the meal =P

and this is so not a fried rice!
they're.. they are.. something i really cannot recall its name.
this is still fine, due to the fact i can add on some salt and pepper.
but sad case is that, i couldnt finish this as well.. >.<
not bad for a first timer kua, at least i tried and continued eating for a few spoons =P

how would you define your normal food? or should i ask, please name the food you normally consume.

and these.. are definitely nowhere near to my definition of my normal food (it is to someone else though.. and i salute the fact that it can be actually so healthy!)

【我都爱自己逛街，买衣服这么多次都是自己一个人完成的事。。】
我是这样告诉着我身边的朋友的。
我其实是很想念以前和姐姐一块到那间充满七彩缤纷花花绿绿的衣服小小的店铺的一次。
可是我都已经习惯了一个人戴着耳机，不受任何人干扰，自己的步调慢慢看，或匆匆选。怎么都好，我都爱自己一个，怎么都好，都总觉得很方便也很自在。

星期六和一个朋友一块吃了个轻松的午餐。就如我一直都强调的，最重要是吃得开心。结果一吃就吃了个三小时。也好，反正就没有其他的事情要紧张。
接近午餐尾声，肚子竟然作怪了起来。没办法，只好离开往厕所前进。上了个厕所，也不见有好很多，只好说再见心想还是回家休息好了。

在雨中并没有加快脚步，脑子里满是昨天的事情。走到kl convention center，竟然碰巧遇到了家私展览，也罢，进去看看也好。结果走下走下，肚子也没感觉了。走下走下，竟然走到了戏院前。最后的最后，看了我本来在飞机里想看的deception。斋戒月里的广场是冷清的，戏院里更是空荡荡的。as always，我隔壁是空座位的，包包很自然就在那乖乖躺着。心想，要是有个伴，可以双手交叉的伴感觉也应该很不错的。

我依然需要继续自个儿看电影，因为是一种乐趣。我告诉自己，千万不可以因为工作而放弃了自己喜欢做的事情（已经慢慢开始了）。

我也说，都是荷尔蒙在作怪。

lunch - 2 bowls of 麻辣干捞板面 + 2 glasses of 凉茶
dinner - 2 big spoons of homemade sambal + 2 fried eggs with special toppings

thursday
lunch - a bowl of my fav curry laksa
dinner - more spoonful of homemade sambal + another 2 eggs, steamed this time, with artifcial tofu

friday
lunch - 2 packets if indomee + fried egg and super spicy kampung fried rice with keropok
dinner - even more of homemade sambal with rice and a big bowl of korean instant noodles

my god.
swt.. everythin is going on double vol for the moment (and god knows how soon am i going to see the immediate effect of this bad bad practice!)

and guess what was i craving for when i was about to land in singapore for transit few days ago.. good ol kl hokkien mee = =||

well.. i have sorta promised someone to have my dubai en route written down.. and obviously i'm too lazy to do so..

so here's what i'm going to do. it's going to be in bits and pieces of the incidents and happenings in my 3 trips to dubai, in as many posts as i can manage to crap about.

and office has not exactly been smooth sailing.. not too biggie a deal, of which i'm trying very hard to ignore (just like everyone else).

you'd think this is ok.. but not for me, but what else can i do..

i must drag him to movies, and more jap food~
this would be by far the best thing to be happening in near future.

今晚，我决定放纵我自己。
我吃了5串油炸的防腐剂制品，那已经用了不少于10次的油炸出来的不健康零食。
我用了短短半小时时间喝完了一瓶超甜的ribena。
我决定不吃那千遍一律难吃的晚餐。

虽然不是笑着吃的，可是我知道，这是最起码我能有的选择，不被控制的权利。

and here you can see.. the use-to-be-so-happy me, with long ah-lian maintenance free hairstyle. i somehow like this pic alot, i used to be so worry free back then. gosh.. who doesnt miss their coll days..

and then you get to see a different me. really different because it's really rare occasion to see me not in sleeved tops! XD and that i have permed hair~ hehe. looks girly and all hor.. but looks alot older as well leh. =P and dont you think i should dress like this more often (cos my hands look so slim.. back then! god knows how its gonna look now!)

and then it's even more rare to find me in full makeup! eyeshadow, mascara, blusher and the whatever not. and yes i look weird without my specs, dont think i can ever live without one. hehe.

and comes the super cute bob-cut! gosh its so beh tahan! i have it removed the next day, not bothering to comb it nicely (thus no nice bob cut hairstyle) =P so much so for spending hundreds.. = = but its a good start, cos its short (something new!) and hair covering the front (a good one that i would like to continue having but too bad my habits dont allow me to.. T.T)

these are when you dont manage the bob-cut, it becomes what it seems to be before-the-hairdo hair.. i actually prefer these more~ hahaha. more natural, more comfortable, more me in it lor.. hahaha.

neighbour has gotten a new pup, a cute lil black pup who sits quietly at the side all the time, observing everything and everyone i guess? =P

this is what i had for starter in boss' house some time ago..
healthy.. and super weird taste! to be honest, i didnt finish that.. >.<
(there're few types of vegies, one i havent eaten before, and blue cheese!)

and i think i'll just stick to this type of starters XD

this would be one of the regrets i have. due to the fact that my new job condition (the current job that i am loving so much) doesnt allow me to get to this place on time, for capoeira class.

would really love to start learning this one day.
that is why i insist on starting guitar! and french.

it's only a short while, but you made me smile, laugh and cry.

baby july. a stray kitten picked up by boss, who then became a topic/argument over what name shall it be named. baby is the name i called, and july by boss, due to the fact that he was found in the month of july, whom also stayed only as long as the month of july (as what my 2nd boss stated). maybe it's the wrong name that caused this, i'd like to think it that way. baby july passed away early morning yesterday, now buried in a corner in the garden.

most of the land along the seacoast owned by the rich, thus seeing bungalows throughout (in the photo)

(it's just opp, but it takes really long just to reach there, no sooner than half an hour!)

and there's a huge piece of empty land next to the two tall bldgs, not sure what is it going to be there.. but my guess would be the bigger-than-bellagio-fountain (hehe..)

well.. u know.. everything has to be big! in dubai.. the burj al arab.. the newcoming airport (5times bigger than the one now), the postponed completion of world's tallest bldg (thus ht. yet to be known), the bigger-than-bellagio-fountain (but not biggest in the world.. surprisingly), the world's biggest man made ski slope (in a shopping mall!), the bigger than ever shopping mall (few times bigger than the existing emirates mall), etcetra etcetra etcetra..

this dubai city is about 40deg at this moment, being the hottest in the year. and it's really construction everywhere at this point! (few times worse than putrajaya few years ago..) hehe.. bet you wonder whether is it a good place to settle in.. not!

well. i guess i am still self-centered after all. (but hey, at least i admitted!)

was clearing my long-time-no-touch hotmail mailbox.
and found an email dated 5yrs ago.
from an ex best friend.
why ex? thats the whole point of that email.
she had enough with my sucky attitude. she couldnt take it anymore.
so she wrote a very long mail with many f words in it, forwarded to our whole group of friends.
saying she wants to let go of this friendship.
well. i didnt reply to that mail.
because i was busy crying.
and that i couldnt accept for what she had done.
to one point i realised she hurt myself, for announcing to the whole world, me being the last to know.

and then i guess i am kinda back to what i used to be.
busy with everything else.
and start to not 'care' about people surrounding me.
(or should i say.. others' way of caring i call it)

see.. here goes the self-centered attitude, again.

it's just not me.
i am not one who would spend hours after hours on the phone. (cant afford the bill leh)
not one who would come out to meet with people day after day. (i dont think i'm a ppl person)
definitely not one who would bother to remember birthdays. (i have no excuse for this. and i salute ppl who can remember it all!)

and then i was commenting that he should make it manual mode to adjust and get a better photo. (little did i realise that the camera the girls own is.. hehe)

and then it ended up with me volunteering to snap for them, using my camera instead.
and then promised to have the pic sent to their mailboxes (done only few days ago =P)
